Are you a new and/or young mom trying to figure out what the heck motherhood is all about? Do you have days when you feel like you’re killin’ it and have other days when you have no idea what you’re doing? If you’re thinking ‘YAASS’ to either of those questions – awesome. You’re my kind of person.
I’m Mariel – a Christian, a wife, a mom of two girls (and one baby in heaven), a daughter, a sister, a friend, and the list could go on and on like most others!
My eldest daughter is 3 going on 13 and constantly tests my patience, while my other daughter is 9 months old and keeps me extra busy with her eczema care needs! Both babies were surprises, so life has pretty much thrown us all kinds of crazy the last few years! This motherhood thing is TOUGH and nobody’s got a manual for it – so I often ask myself what the heck I’m doing.
What I do know is that being a mom – especially a “Millennial” mom (as much as I hate to admit it) – is wild and fun and happy and stressful and fulfilling and a blessing all at the same time. I don’t claim to have it altogether, and you’ll see that in my posts, but there are some things I’ve managed to figure out and I want to share that with you.
If your baby’s been battling eczema, I’ve had (a very stressful) experience with that. If you’re trying to find kid-friendly spots to hang out at in Lower Mainland, BC, I’ll be discovering places like that. If you’re wanting to read a review on toddler and baby products, I’ll be writing my opinions about some. If you’re needing a little pick me up, a laugh, a prayer, or encouragement from the Word, I’ve got your back on that, too.
